Decorative DIY. Colorful wall lockers

Equipment
Wooden wine crates
Electric sander or abrasive coarse-grained paper +
Special paint masking tape
Acrylic paint and brush
Drill with a suitable size 6 wall
Size 6 screws and dowels

Sanding and preparation
Mary chose to keep the natural wood color that will contrast with the background, painted a bright and energizing color. We start by sanding funds in grosgrain to remove the print. A second sanding with fine grain allows perfected (removing splinters, softened area ...). Then, the area is delimited to paint with masking tape to prevent smudging.

The paint
"First, we must rechampir, that is to say identify angles, putting a thin layer of paint in a move that will tape it to the bottom bin. This prevents the paint slime in the corners, "says Marie. We painted the bottom of the box in two layers for a more intense and opaque color. The tape is removed from the last last layer. After drying the paint and determined the storage position (horizontal or vertical), two parallel holes are drilled at the top, in the locker bottom.

Installation
Positioning the rack on the wall and mark with a pencil the hole locations and then pierces the wall with a suitable drill in which a square peg before screwing the storage wall. Just have to paint the screws so that they blend in. Marie's advice: "For a nice rendering, vary the direction and shift the bins with each other. For Scandinavian style decor, opt for pastel colors (gray, violet, celadon ...). "
